..:The carnival:..
Strange, wicked and mysterious. This carnival has undoubtedly a gothic and scary atmosphere, something which strangely enough has attracted a rather large crowd. The pack looks horrendous, religious sects claim they bring doomsday upon Yolde's inhabitants, and a fog has appeared lately, after their arrival. Could this possibly have a connection, or are people simply going ... mad?

..:Ye Olde Pub:..
After it's renovation in 2024, younger, and better scented, people have started to pay this dusty pub a visit. Whilst the old customers complain about the new owner, saying he made it "too classy", the local youth are eager to check the place out, not necessary for the historical value, but rather the cheap drinks.

..:The shopping mall:..
Yolde has never been known for a broad and varied compilation of shops, but it did improve slightly as the shopping centre was build nine years ago. The shopping mall consists of a music shop, a florist, a hair dresser/beauty salon, a super market, five clothing shops, two shoe stores, two cafeterias/diners, a pet shop, a kiosk, a book store, an electronics shop, a pharmacy and a toy store. Sure, it's not the most exclusive nor special, yet it's enough to satisfy most of the inhabitants in Yolde.

..:West side:..
Being the more sophisticated and wealthy part of the town, the west side has many nice houses and apartments, the town museum, a post office and some few shops, in addition to a small church.

..:East side:..
Yolde East used to be where the working class and the even poorer lived. You still get the impression of it, but today it has gotten more and more popular, and several outdoor cafes and art galleries has now opened in this former sad part of Yolde. If you want to live here, the rent for houses is pretty high, unless your destination is the shabby part, which is the remnants of a ghetto.

..:Town square:..
Yolde's town square is located in the very centre of the town, and its market is blooming of life and good buys. Although Yolde is a small town, thieves are not unusual. You may buy everything here, and the market lies next to the library, the tiny hospital and the police station. There's also a small factory and dozens of tiny shops and cafees around the square.

There's life outside of the town too. In the outskirts of Yolde you find a deep forest, a lake and you're not far away from the mountains either.
